In early 2025, Microsoft was ready to invest in a global employee recognition strategy—and they were eager to start developing an identifiable brand for the new experience to draw employees in and communicate their why.

My team worked closely with Microsoft's brand, internal comms, and HR groups to develop a recognition identity that reflected their freshly-minted EVP. It was our job to take the core idea of "Infinite Impact" and make it feel both accessible and aspirational.

When we presented the Extraordinary concept—a recognition brand that elevated Microsoft employees' everyday accomplishments with the juxtoposition of bold copy and quiet, intimate photography—we hit the nail on the head. As our client put it: "Totally brilliant."
